Hafsa
Hafsa grew up in the heart of Amsterdam West, surrounded by cultures, scents, and stories that shaped her curiosity from a young age. With parents and grandparents from Pakistan, she was raised with the rich traditions, aromas, and warm hospitality that define her heritage. The smell of spices in the kitchen, the natural oils her grandmother used, and the delicate perfumes passed down through generations all sparked her lifelong fascination with fragrance.
What began as simple admiration—how a scent can soothe, energize, or bring back memories—became a deep appreciation for the power of natural ingredients. This connection to her roots continues to inspire her today. In every product she helps create, Hafsa brings together her cultural heritage, her love for gentle, grounding aromas, and her dedication to offering safe, handcrafted items that make everyday life feel a little more special.
Everything shifted when she developed an unexpected allergy to ingredients found in conventional candles, perfumes and detergents. Instead of letting it hold her back, Hafsa turned her curiosity into action. She began researching cleaner, safer alternatives, which eventually led to the spark that would become Cleandamsco.
Today, Hafsa pours her care and attention into creating products that are gentle, natural, and uplifting - products she’s proud to share with others who value wellness and authenticity as much as she does.

Born in the Philippines and raised in the Netherlands, Karyl carries with her the warmth, spirit, and resilience of both cultures. From a young age, she found joy in scents - how they can transform a space and bring a sense of calm.
When she and Hafsa began exploring safer, eco-friendly candle alternatives, Karyl became deeply committed to using natural ingredients that respect both people and the planet.
